Counter-UAS / DIMT-M / Public safety

Protecting the public
from the unlawful drone.

IntelAerial supports public safety officials with unmanned aircraft system (UAS) Detection, Identification, Monitoring, Tracking and Mitigation (DIMT-M) programs that protect the public and critical infrastructure from nefarious or unlawful use of UAS, consistent with 6 U.S.C. § 124n and 6 C.F.R. Part 124.

6 U.S.C. § 124n6 C.F.R. Part 124DIMT-MAccredited agency support

Authority first.
Technology second.

Counter-UAS is a legal problem before it is a technical one. Operation of certain detection technologies and all mitigation technologies is limited to accredited law enforcement and correctional agencies that meet the training, certification, accreditation and authorized technology requirements of 6 C.F.R. Part 124.

IntelAerial does not operate mitigation technology. We help eligible agencies build, fund, document, test and sustain DIMT-M programs that meet those requirements and hold up to oversight, audit and the courtroom.

Mitigation is restricted to accredited law enforcement and correctional agencies authorized under 6 U.S.C. § 124n and 6 C.F.R. Part 124.

Five functions.
One defensible chain.

Every counter-UAS response moves through the same sequence. Each step has to be lawful, documented and repeatable, because every action has to be justified afterward.

D

Detect

Establish the presence of an unmanned aircraft in protected airspace using radio-frequency, radar, electro-optical/infrared, acoustic and Remote ID sensing—layered to close the coverage gaps any single sensor leaves open.

Passive + Remote ID support / certain detection limited to accredited agencies

I

Identify

Classify the platform, read its Remote ID broadcast, locate the operator and separate cooperative, authorized flights from non-cooperative or unlawful activity before a response decision is made.

Program design, classification protocols + operator training support

M

Monitor

Keep continuous awareness of the airspace over critical infrastructure, correctional facilities, mass gatherings and government campuses, with alert thresholds tied to documented response procedures.

Airspace awareness planning + coverage validation

T

Track

Follow the flight path, assess intent, correlate aircraft and operator positions and preserve track data with chain-of-custody integrity for investigation and prosecution.

Evidence handling, data retention + after-action documentation

M

Mitigate

Lawfully disrupt, disable, seize control of or otherwise defeat a UAS that poses a credible threat to the safety or security of a covered facility, asset or the public.

Restricted to accredited law enforcement + correctional agencies under 6 C.F.R. Part 124

Mission-ready programs,
not shelfware.

Buying the hardware is the easy part. Building a program that is funded, accredited, trained, exercised and legally defensible is the work. That is where we come in.

01

NOFO + grant program support

Needs assessments, threat and vulnerability analysis, investment justifications and budget narratives aligned to the Notice of Funding Opportunity, so your application reads like a program ready to operate.

NOFO / INVESTMENT JUSTIFICATION / BUDGET NARRATIVE
02

Airspace threat + vulnerability assessments

On-site and aerial surveys of covered facilities that map likely launch points, approach corridors, line-of-sight obstructions and sensor coverage gaps, then rank the risks by consequence.

SITE SURVEY / LAUNCH-POINT ANALYSIS / COVERAGE GAPS
03

Technology evaluation + procurement advisory

Independent review of DIMT-M systems against authorized technology requirements, including sensor fusion, spectrum and communications-law questions, vendor due diligence and supply-chain and component-provenance review.

AUTHORIZED TECHNOLOGY / SPECTRUM / SUPPLY CHAIN
04

Training, certification + accreditation readiness

Standard operating procedures, rules for use, privacy and civil-liberties protections, data-retention policy and the records your agency needs to meet the training, certification and accreditation requirements of 6 C.F.R. Part 124.

SOPs / PRIVACY / RECORDS / ACCREDITATION
05

Cooperative test + exercise flights

FAA Part 107 certified pilots fly controlled, cooperative UAS profiles that check detection coverage, train operators and exercise response plans, from tabletop scenarios to full-scale drills.

RED-TEAM PROFILES / VALIDATION / FULL-SCALE EXERCISE
06

Special event + critical infrastructure airspace planning

Airspace security plans for stadiums, mass gatherings and SEAR-rated events, including flight-restriction coordination, sensor placement planning and after-action reporting.

SPECIAL EVENTS / FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS / AFTER-ACTION

Where the airspace
has to stay clear.

01

Correctional facilities

Contraband delivery, perimeter surveillance and drops of weapons and narcotics into secure yards.

02

Stadiums + mass gatherings

Crowd-safety threats, unauthorized flights over spectators and special event airspace violations.

03

Critical infrastructure

Energy generation, substations, water treatment, communications and transportation systems.

04

Government + defense-adjacent campuses

Surveillance and reconnaissance of sensitive facilities, personnel and operations.

05

Ports + river terminals

Maritime facilities, barge terminals and inland waterway infrastructure.

06

Schools + public venues

Campus safety, graduation and public-event protection and community event security.
